When you hear an emergency vehicle coming, pull to right side of the road. Do this even if you are going the opposite direction. Many times in certain traffic, emergency vehicles will have to go into the other lane to get around cars. If you have no where to move to, its better to just stay put than to try something unpredictable. If you stay put the emergency vehicle will find away around you.
