Did you know that if your iPod is turned off it will drain the battery? It would take 2 to 4 weeks of non use but would ultimately drain. Batteries drain faster in warmer temperature environments. Store your iPod in a cool dry place. Being left in a car or even in a glove box during the day, while powered off will drain the battery faster than in a cool environment.
