What kind of content should I post?

IMPORTANT: Pagellan is about storing and sharing knowledge, it is not about spam, sharing links or opportunities. You should only post content that you consider to be valuable and wish to remember or share with others.
You can post anything you want privately, with the exception of passwords or sensitive information.
While we will endeavor to make Pagellan as secure as possible, you should not think of Pagellan as a digital vault. Simply a private knowledgebase and resource for information.
Also we'd like to keep Pagellan family friendly, so we won't accept public posts referencing inappropriate content.
If you have content you wish to share with the world, it must be clear, concise and valuable. You can post up to 500 characters of content and include relevant links.
However, Pagellan is not a free-for-all.. Posts will be moderated for public view to prevent spam, inappropriate content, duplication and copyright violations. This will ensure that visitors to Pagellan will only get the best and most valuable content.
We also recommend you use the first sentence of your post as a title to help better organize your content. This will also help with the seo of your posts and drive more traffic to your profile.
What's the best strategy for reserving tags?
As Pagellan is so new at this point we can't say what the best strategy will be.
We've populated the initial tag database with 1000+ highly searched and
profitable tags. You can choose to reserve tags in your niche, and as you add
more knowledge to that niche you will drive traffic to your own tag pages. Or
you can choose to register tags merely because you know the niche to be
profitable. Pagellan's main page will work like a search engine as our
content grows.. So whatever people will search for will display your tag
ads.
As Pagellan grows we'll be able to give more data. But a safe bet is to look for
profitable keyword phrases in niches you are currently involved in, and help us
build the knowledge in that niche.
Can I change my tags after I reserve them?
Yes, all our tags work on a credit system. If you decide you want to remove a
tag, you simply delete it and a credit will be added to your account. There is
no proration, you're paying the same amount for credits each month regardless of
your tags.
What kind of ads can I display on my tag pages?
We plan on moderating all ads for a number of reasons. To ensure your ad is
approved we recommend using ads or offers from major networks such as Google
AdSense, Commission Junction, LinkShare etc. Your ad should be
targeted to your niche. Obviously AdSense would be ideal.
