More Suggestions - Newbie Checklist

Hi Dan:

Here is a suggestion that I believe is needed, you can easily do, (because you are an experienced internet marketer) earn income from it and is needed by most every new marketer who is just beginning.

Make a simple checklist of the mechanical things a new marketer needs to do to get the first website up and operating. I mean just the mechanics, no special instructions about why and what; that has already been done, in most cases. If you make this a downloadable video, it would work well in your newbie site and/or Newbie bootcamp series, and could help spark greater interest in Pagellan, too. While not certain, I don't believe this project would take much time; I cede to your greater knowledge and experience, though.

I have studied with many excellent internet marketing people (I am a marketing person, not IM though). Of all the courses I have taken and IM people I have spoken with, no one has anything like a checklist that they will publish, teach or share with their students.

I will be interested in your comments about this idea.

Just to clarify, are you talking about the steps involved in registering a website, getting hosting and setting up a wordpress blog?

Or something else?

Those kind of videos have been done many times..

Can you layout a few of steps you're specifically looking for, and that will help me better understand..

I'll certainly do a video, just want get the mechanics you're referring to.

Here is what I understand about the mechanical part of launching
a web site using affiliate marketing or selling a product. I definitely not
sure about this.

1. Choose a product (aka: niche)

a. Record your affiliate link.

2. Purchase a domain name.

3. Get a hosting service.

4. Decide if you are going to build an email list along with your
intended sales efforts. If you are, get an Auto-responder service.

5. Download the sales letter to your html editor.

6. Add your affiliate link to the sales letter. Add auto-responder to

your sales letter to get optin names & email addresses.

7. Upload your html editor contents to the hosting service that is

hosting your domain.

8. Promote your new website.

I think something that will explain what I am to do, without any

instructions about the specifics of how to do IM.

This will allow a new person to launch a simple website and learn

promotion while he is still learning from his IM materials.

I believe this kind of information is needed, although it may
appear simplistic. I and many others I have studied with are

asking, How to I get my (affiliate site or sales site) on the web and

working for me.

As I said earlier, I cannot find this information from any IM

instruction I am and have taken. I admit, I have not hired an
IM coach because it cost too much for right now. As I get going,
maybe a knowledgeable coach will be a good investment.

What do you think of this idea? Is it workable?

There are a lot of courses and videos on the web that
cover these things, but the problem is that there are
so many different programs to accomplish the tasks.

However I do cover most of this in my 22 Day Bootcamp. Have you
