The perfect post is a piece of information that saves you time, money or aggravation.

When you post make sure you use the first sentence as a way to introduce that piece of information.  Think of it as the “title” of your post.

Once you start using Pagellan it will make more sense as to how it will save you time and you’ll find yourself referencing information you saved again and again.

You can choose to make your information public or private, and can even tweet or facebook it if you desire.   Most of Pagellan posts happen in the moment.  You just learned something and want to remember it.

So if you don’t have an inspiration to post right now here are some post ideas to get you started using Pagellan.

Here’s a quick example I watched a show about incredible hotels and one of them was Jade Mountain in St. Lucia.   I told my girlfriend I needed to add that to my bucket list.  So I just created a bucket list on Pagellan, some private and some public.

What Advice would you give your younger self?

Even if you don’t have kids, imagine some things you would tell yourself if you could start your life over again.  Perhaps it’s never get into credit card debt.  Or  take better care of your health, or listen to your parents.

Imagine that 1000′s of young people will read your advice in the future, because they just might.

Everyone’s got a favorite quote.  Share yours and tell a story that might relate to it.

What was something that really frustrated you before you found a solution?

When you first see them, you’ll see “connect to” links to the right.  You’ll need to click those one time to authorize Pagellan to remote post to Facebook and Twitter.  Each post will have a short url link back to your original Pagellan post.

We’ve added a new sidebar popout bookmarklet that enables you to post to Pagellan plus Twitter or Facebook in one click from any URL.  If you have Firefox or Chrome you just drag our bookmarklet to your browser’s bookmarks toolbar and it’s all setup.

This is a really slick tool, and now whenever you have a piece of knowledge to share no matter what website you are on you can post to Pagellan in just 2 clicks.

Finally, I’ve released some premium keyword tags that I had been holding and they can now be claimed in the manage tags area for just one credit.

If you haven’t setup your keyword backlink and advertising yet, or claimed your tags please do so quickly.  I expect a flood of new members shortly.

The first is a Firefox Add On which will add a Pagellan icon to the browser address bar and also a Pagellan icon to lower right of every webpage. This unobtrusive icon will display a post entry field with social media tools when clicked. This will allow users to add a post in just one click from their browser.

The Twitter and Facebook integration when checked will allow users to post an excerpt of their post to Twitter or Facebook with a short URL to their post on Pagellan. Even better, this short URL will also encode the user’s Clickbank ID to the URL.

So you will soon be able to use Pagellan for “longer tweets” which in turn could earn you monthly recurring commissions from your followers on Twitter and Facebook.

What is someone willing to do for $5.00?

Basically there are thousands of “sellers” who will do a variety of things for just $5.00.   And when I say variety I mean just about anything.

There are sellers who will write your company name on just about any body part, or dance in a hot dog costume to your favorite song, or slam dunk a basketball while pitching your product.

Of course, if you want an article written or a quick fix for a website there are loads of sellers for those tasks too.

But it’s the crazy and outlandish things that catch my attention.   Fiverr even has a category for this called “Fun and Bizarre“.

So as I’m just starting to promote my Pagellan site I thought it would be fun to kick it off with a fun and bizarre bit of publicity.

What would happen if I spent $500 on Fiverr.com and combined all 100 “Gigs” into a YouTube video to promote my site?

I’m not sure if this kind of Fiverr promo has been done before, but it’s an interesting idea.
And since Pagellan is all about keeping track of and sharing great ideas.  Why not try it?

The idea is really quite simple.  I’m going to get 100 Fiverr sellers to pitch my site in both crazy and traditional ways.

If Fiverr sellers don’t get contacted by me and want to participate they are welcome to submit their promos to me and I may add them to my video.   Of course the more popular my video becomes the more business these sellers just may receive.

I’m going to call this event “The Pagellan 500″

On the video I’ll display a URL for Pagellan.com/500 and  will track affiliate sales to that URL which should self-fund the event and may provide an ongoing Fiverr ad campaign.
